Terminology

Fluid : Liquid substances that has unique characteristic

Hydraulic : Power produced by a moving liquids

Actuator : Device that perform action (both rotational & liniear displacement)

Valve : a “door” mechanism that allows a fluid in or out

Cylinder : A liniear “action” device (a prismatic displacement)

Motor : A rotational “action” device (a revolute displacement)
