    What this means for you

    DCC Public 12

    The plan will deliver full functionality of the DCC system over two live releases:

    Release 1.2 provides the functionality required for suppliers to install commission and

    operate SMETS2 meters for credit customers by August 2016.

    Release 1.3 will deliver the remaining functionality, including prepayment and export

    metering.

    There are also post-DCC Live licence obligations (set out by DECC in its Rollout Strategy) on

    suppliers and network operators:

    Large suppliers (DCC User mandate and Early Rollout Obligation R1.2 + 6 months)

    Small domestic suppliers (DCC User Mandate R1.2 + 12 months)

    Electricity DNOs (DCC User Mandate R1.3 + 6 months)
