The result is quite funky and powerful. Repetition is the key to developing solid technique. Slap Bass Mastery provides the perfect combination of the repetition needed to create muscle memory and thirty-five play-along tracks that will keep you from becoming bored. This is an excellent environment for practice. Each play-along includes the bass line as a model and solid groove for you to follow. It might be good practice to listen to each example once or twice without playing your bass. Then pick up the bass, jump in, and groove. Most of the examples are simple enough that you probably wouldn’t need to look at the notation. The goal is to become consistent with your technique, sound, and groove. Remember, you can’t get hurt making mistakes. Dig in!
