Yeah that is true. They have a similar speed because the Pronghorn and the Cheetah share a few physical traits, like a large heart and lungs to help them pump blood and take in air quicker. Both even have evolved to have lightweight bones so their own body weight won't slow them down.

Here’s a few photographs of Pronghorns. Look for the dark marks along the nose and under the jaw on males. Notice that Females don’t have these marks at all. The male Pronghorns’ horns are made up of a bone which is covered by

a sheath which grows and sheds annually. The females don’t have sheaths over theirs.

Pronghorns need to have great vision to survive in the wild. And boy do Pronghorns have great vision. They’re able to see movement up to 4 miles away!

Their eyesight helps them see if predators are approaching so they can move their herd to a safe
