Regulations

Lunch Break will be approximately 12 noon

Novice is one who has not won a first prize competing at any open show or gymkhana

Entry tickets will be available on the day. NO refund on unused tickets

Childs events must be ridden in snaffle bit

Pleasure classes– Horses to be ridden in a snaffle bit, no spurs or whips

The Judges decision is final.

Cross country course is out of bounds at all times during the day

Rings will only be held for championships

Random swabbing may take place

Exhibits must choose to compete as either a Show Hunters or an open exhibit for the day not both.

A competitor receiving a championship is ineligible to compete in the same event in any other ring.

Pony club Ring

Full pony club uniform must be worn

Snaffle bit only to be used

Pony club cards MUST be carried and produced at the ring when requested

Medical armbands must be worn at all times

The Judges decision is final

Conditions of Participation

Condition of Entry— is condition upon acceptance of these conditions.

1. Entry fee per event as stated on each ring page.

2. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.

3. The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition: divide any class; alter times; refuse

any entry with or without stating the reason.

4. No refunds on unused tickets.

5. Non– PCAV, EA , HRCAV, and SHC members and pony club members competing in the open section must sign a

day attendance form and pay a $10.00 fee before riding unless membership cards are produced when tickets are

purchased.

6. All Lunging must take place in the round yard or camp draft arena.

7. Queries, protests, horse abuse and doping rules as per the PCAV handbook of by-laws.

8. No Dogs allowed on grounds

9. No stallion, colts or rigs

10. Neither the organizing committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any

accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, rider, ground spectators or any other person or property.

Supreme Led, Champion Childs and Champion Newcomer will be judged at the start

of lunch in Ring One.

All other Supremes will be judged at the end of the day in Ring One.
