1 INTRODUCTION

Hewlett Packard is re-launching the Roxio CinemaNow store as HP MovieStore as of January 2011. The service will be available on all new HP devices including desktops, laptops, netbooks and touch devices.

The service will offer premium titles for rent and purchase. Customers will be able to view the titles online and offline via the application. The service will also give customers access to their RoxioNow Library ("digital locker") representing titles purchased via different retailers and platform offerings.

3 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Hewlett Packard, a leading PC OEM, has been offering a movie service with RoxioNow since June 2010. The service - pre-installed on devices during the factory installation has been called Roxio CinemaNow. It's been decided to rename the same pre-installed service to HP MovieStore. This version of the service will be available in Q1 2011.

This service will continue to be distributed via the same channels as previously. There are plans for a more extensive marketing plan to be developed with RoxioNow in 2011.

5 COMPANY BACKGROUND

HP markets its products to households, small- to medium-sized businesses and enterprises directly as well as via online distribution, consumer-electronics and office-supply retailers, software partners and major technology vendors.

Currently, the service is marketed on HP.com.

A marketing strategy and plan for 2011 is being developed by HP and RoxioNow in Q4 2010.
