American Products, Inc. American Products, Inc. (API) is a specialty manufacturer of architectural metal and plastic products for the fenestration (storefront) and fixture Industries. From standard or custom storefront systems to interior dressing room partitions and panel systems. API specializes in offering self-performed, complete material packages from a single source, to the construction Industry.

Our Florida Product Approved and Impact tested standard storefront and entry systems, as well as our interior mall entry systems (GlasWal™), are some of the most widely specified products in the retail and commercial construction Industry.

HistoryAPI was founded in 1990 by an ownership group that recognized the need for a supplier that could pay attention to something more than just its own product lines. At API, our clients and the success of their projects are paramount. API not only offers a vast product line, but a unique form of project management to monitor schedules, project and stock inventory, conduct blue-print material take-offs to formulate quotes, and provide complete design and engineering services.

Custom Extruding, Fabrication and Finishing CapabilitiesIn order to offer competitive prices and the most value to our clients, API self performs most of its product line and continues to add state of the art manufacturing equipment to its factory nearly every year since 1990. We offer one of the largest selections of anodized, powder coated, Kynar paint, and cladded finish-es. From extruding to fabrication to custom finishing, API has a complete design department standing by to create new products and or modify existing products to meet specific project requirements.

Choose from an array of standard products or work with API’s design department to create the perfect customized Sun Control product for your project.

When customizing your Sun Control product, begin by choosing your outrigger, select an infi ll, and choose your fascia. Next choose the fi nish, size, and quan ty. Lastly, select the type of installa on method to be u lized which includes fastening directly to the wall or directly into your curtain wall or storefront system.
