What is a Blog ?

Blogger is a blog publishing service that allows private or multi-user blogs. It was developed

by pyra Labs,As one of the earliest dedicated blog publishing tools which was bought

by Google in 2003. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at a sub

domain of blogspot.com. If you are unfamiliar with the service, this seminar will teach you

how to set up an account and create a blog on Blogger.com.

Creating a Blog

It is easy And simple

STEP 1Navigate to www.blogger.com/home

Sign in using your Google Account to get started. If you do not have a Google Account, click “Sign up” to create one.

STEP 2

Enter a “Display Name” to be used to sign your blog posts and click “Continue”.

STEP 3

Click “Create Your Blog Now”

STEP 4

Select a “Blog title” and an available URL for your blog. You can check if the URL you are considering is available by clicking "Check Availability".

STEP 5

Choose a starter template, which will act as the basic design/layout of your blog and click create blog.

STEP 6

You created your blog . Now You can create new blog posts, edit posts, and edit pages from under the “Posting” tab.
