History of LeidenLeiden is a town with a lot history.There is so much information, we cant tell it all.History:The Pieterskerk (church) In the Middle Ages was it customary to bury dead people in a church.That happened in the Pieterskerk (church),but only the rich people.The church is now very well known in Leiden.

October 3October 3 is a very famous day in Leiden.Leiden was besieged by the Spaniards.We were liberated on October 3.Now, in 2013 we still celebrate the liberation of Leiden.We eat traditional food (Hutspot),That's food with carrots, unions and potatoes.And we go to the ‘Kermis’.That's a place with a lot of games and a lot of attractions.Students and Pupils (in Leiden) of all schoolsare free on October 3.
