They inspire.” - Jade, Jusce Rider Are we advancing in the mission we’ve been given? This is the queson I consider when casng the vision for Created Equal and considering opportunies before us. While there is much work to be done, I am pleased to report that in 2015 we made great strides. There were many highlights this year, such as leading 180 individual outreaches (up from 114 last year). This included new media, such as our recently introduced JumboTV trailer, which marries the impact of the JumboTV with the mobility of the Truth Truck. We also joined ministry partners Pro-Life Acon League and Cizens for a Pro-Life Society to spearhead the historic #ProtestPP response to Planned Parenthood’s trafficking of aborted baby parts. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE 2016 AN EVEN BETTER YEAR FOR PREBORN BABIES AND THEIR PARENTS! YOUR YEAR-END GIFT OF ANY SIZE PERMITS OUR TEAM TO DEFEND BABIES AND PROVIDE HOPE FOR PARENTS CONSIDERING ABORTION. Not only did #ProtestPP result in 100,000 acvists taking to the streets at 654 individual protests, but in our home base of Columbus, OH, the effort launched a connual presence outside the local Planned Parenthood. Every me their doors are open, Created Equal’s Sidewalk Ministry has boots on the ground. We’ve already seen 44 women turn away from this facility alone, nine of whom have gone on to confirm they will not kill their babies! One of the best barometers of our success this year, however, is not numbers we report but concern our work inspires in aboron advocates. NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio and pro-aboron legislators recently assembled at the Ohio Statehouse to announce introducon of House Bill 408. This bill would shut down our Killers Among Us project, which includes pung photos of aboronists next to images of their preborn vicms on postcards delivered to their neighbors and mobile billboards driven by their homes. The aboron advocates even blew up one of our postcards (while obscuring, of course, the image of the aborted baby) to serve as a backdrop for their press conference. Why are they so worried? Last year, two Columbus aboronists quit following our Killers Among Us effort. This year, infamous aboronist Marn Haskell faces possible closure of his Dayton facility in the wake of focusing the project on his barbaric pracce. Are we advancing in the mission we’ve been given? This is the question I consider when casting the vision for Created Equal and considering opportunities before us. While there is much work to be done, I am pleased to report that in 2015 we made great strides.

Introducing legislation is not the only way abortion advocates express concern we’re gaining ground. In response to Created Equal’s Operation Overpass—showing abortion victims to thousands of commuters above busy highways—a handful of abortion advocates recently mimicked us while another couple violently attacked our team.
Only the instance of violence presented an actual threat to our work, and law enforcement once again defended to these unhinged supporters of abortion our First Amendment rights. Far from threatening, the copycats are amusing. While it’s flattering to see them borrow our strategy, their effort will always pale in comparison to ours—even if they invest in more visible signs—because we have something they don’t have: pictures of victims of brutal injustice.

Kick-starting the new year will be #ProtestPP in Washington, DC! In 2015, hundreds of cities held individual protests at local Planned Parenthood facilities. This January, we’re inviting these local teams to come together in one voice at the construction site of a proposed Planned Parenthood mega-center. Created Equal has been to this site before—distributing Killers Among Us postcards, praying in the street to halt construction, showing video of abortion victims on our JumboTV trailer, and more—and we’re excited to return with a national coalition, including David Daleiden, the man behind the Center for Medical Progress undercover videos.
