Started in 2006 by the husband-and-wife team of Jonathan and Kimberlie Denton, October Afternoon has developed an extensive line of products and gained a widespread following in the scrapbooking community.

Kimberlie Denton, October Afternoon’s Creative Director, developed her passion for art while growing up in Montana. The daughter of a housing designer and granddaughter of a painter, Kimberlie was exposed to a variety of art forms at a very early age. Her interests took her to Pensacola Christian College in Florida, were she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts.

After graduating from college, Kimberlie designed rubber stamps, which evolved into an interest in designing other scrapbooking products. She draws her inspiration from antique stores, current trends in fashion, and her experiences on her grandfather’s farm.

The success of Kimberlie’s designs has taken the Denton’s from Montana to Washington, Colorado, and ultimately Minnesota. Kimberlie and Jonathan currently reside in Apple Valley, Minnesota, with their dog, Brinkley, and cat, Murphy.
