Walk through unfamiliar streets, admire the architecture, and appreciate the history behind an old building. Stop by old shops’ displays, indulge in food you’ve never tried before, and sip your coffee while you appreciate the beauty of the now. Get absolutely lost, look through street signs, struggle to find your way back home, and while you do, appreciate all the new things that come in sight.

Smile to strangers, talk to random people, ask them how they feel, and wish them a day filled with happiness. Walk, and walk, and wander; and when your feet can’t carry you anymore, take a moment to just sit there and take a look around you. Get in touch with your feelings, with your thoughts, and I bet it has been a while since you’ve last felt connected to your inner self. Wander, search, and explore; not only your outer surrounding, but explore the hidden corners of your soul too. It is ok to get lost at times; it is ok not to know where you are, or where you’re heading, because this is how you grow, evolveand find your path.

4 Home Remedie for Oily and Shiny Skin

Both egg whites and lemon are known to work wonders for oily skin. These ingredients also help tightening the pores, and the acids in lemons are very effective in absorbing excess oil. Mix 1 egg white with 1 tsp of freshly-squeezed lemon juice. Apply the mask onto your face and leave till it dries. You will feel your skin tightening while the mask completely dries. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. For noticeable results, repeat this remedy twice a week.

Besides its soothing properties for skin burns, aloe vera is also used to treat oily skin. It also helps balancing your skin and rids your skin from clogged pores. Apply freshly-extracted aloe vera gel on your face and leave for 30 minutes then rinse off with warm water. If your skin suffers from pimples, you can add a drop of tea tree oil. Repeat this remedy on a daily basis.

Tomatoes contain salicylic acids which help absorb excess oil and unclog the pores. To make an exfoliating tomato mask, add 1tsp of sugar to tomato pulp and stir. Use the mixture to scrub your face in circular motion then leave it for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Oatmeal is very effective in absorbing excess oil in the skin as well as keeping it from looking shiny. Oatmeal can be used as a scrub when ground and can be combined with other ingredients such as yogurt or honey. To make oatmeal mask, mix ½ cup of ground oats with hot water to form a paste. Add 1 tbsp of honey to the paste and blend well. Add the mask onto your skin and leave for 10 -15 minutes. Rinse the maskwith warm water.

As makeup artists we always go back for our origins to enhance and boost the look by our culture background, as we can find the difference of the American, korean and european makeup look according to the their background and skin tones, The Bedouins are a group of people who have historically inhabited the desert regions usually divided into tribes in North Africa, Arabian Peninsula, and Iraq who have the same tanned skin tone that magically works out with the Sahara Nature, The hero in this portrait is Kohl (khur, kuhl, kahal, or kohol) is a black substance used by the women of the Arabian Peninsula as eyeliner and eyeshadow. Apart from making

the eyes look brighter and larger, kohl was once believed to have several value’s fitting as eyeliner to contour and darken the eyelids and as mascara for the eyelashes, it is worn mostly by women, but also by some men and children, It was believed that it protect against eye diseases and help control the glare and the harsh rays of the sun in the desert.Regarding the portrait, I wanted to show the bold edge, daring, sexy and eye-catching Smokey eye look of the Sahara look, inspired by the desert ladies who mostly have a dark toned skin from the sun, Also

enhancing the eyebrows look and giving it the courageous, feathery , romantic and soft look which is also inspired now a days. 1.AFTER YOUR AMAZING PERFORMANCE IN MALIKA, WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW DID YOUR ACTING JOURNEY BEGIN?It all began when I was a little kid. I grew up fond of all sorts of arts, be it singing, dancing, or acting, worth to mention my love for the camera. I loved to take pictures everywhere I go; I wasn’t in any way camera-shy. As I grew up my passion for art has been growing deeper and my family began to notice this and gave me a helping hand to explore my talents and envision where I want to be. This is when I began to develop a vision of where I want to see myself, who I want to be, and what I want to do. It was a vision so clear and vivid that it felt so real. I took it from there and began to set the very first steps in the path I’m after. I began with TV commercials and modeling, and then later on I enrolled in acting workshops to learn the techniques. This is when I began to set the first stepping stones that will take me to where I aspire to be.

2.WHAT IS THE CRITERIA BASED ON WHICH YOU CHOOSE YOUR ROLES?It basically depends on how I see myself in the role. It has to be a role that adds up to the whole plot of the work and appealing enough. I have to feel the role in order to add to it, especially that I am detail-oriented. I meticulously study the character I’ll play, and I love to meet people whose character might have something in similar with the role I play. This significantly helps you to get a thorough insight about the depth of the character in order to personify the role.

3.AMONG THE ROLES YOU PLAYED, WHICH ONE IS THE CLOSEST TO YOUR HEART?Ayah in ‘Malika’; honestly it isn’t just a matter of sharing the same, but the similarities I had in common with this character. I enjoyed every single scene and I felt it intensely. Actually the initial name chosen for the role was Heba, but after my first meeting with the director, he noticed there are a lot of similarities between my character and the role. This is when he decided to change the name from Heba to Aya.

4.IF YOU GET THE CHANCE TO PLAY A ROLE WITH ONE OF THE TOP ACTORS AROUND THE WORLD WHO WOULD IT BE?If only he were still alive, definitely would have been Heath Ledger! To me, he’s my all-time favorite actor. I actually have my bedroom curtains painted with his pictures as the joker. He truly was legendary.

5.BESIDES ACTING, WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT?Music, Food, and shopping! That is actually me in 3 words.

6.WHO’S YOUR ROLE MODEL?It isn’t actually a role model as much as it is an objective or a target. My main motivator will always be my goals and where I want to see myself. If my objective is to get a leading role in a movie in two years, I will focus all my energy into bringing this dream to reality.

7.WHAT’S YOUR SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?The givers; those who give out a helping hand and want to make this world a better place. The world is full of people who are fighting their own battles, and so many people out there need help; be it emotional, on professional level, or even trying to make ends meet. When I see people reaching out for those in need and trying with all their effort to make their lives better, I feel so touched and inspired. It is just so noble and generous. I also admire people who smile at strangers for absolutely no reason other than trying to spread good vibes everywhere they go. I really don’t know how to explain this, it is very hard to be in the mood to smile at any given moment, so imagine how beautiful are the people who just like to smile at strangers who pass by them in the sidewalk, isn’t it just amazing. I also find music very inspiring. Music moves people; it really can take them through many emotions. It amazes me the amount of creativity and talent that it takes to produce a good musical piece or song.

INDIAN BUTTER CHICKENINGREDIENTS:• 1 c. Greek yogurt• Juice of 1/2 a lemon• 1 tsp. turmeric• 2 tsp. garam masala, divided• 1 tsp. cumin• 1 1/2 lb. chicken breast, cut into 1” pieces• 6 tbsp. butter, divided• 1 large onion, sliced• 2 jalapeños, minced• 1 cinnamon stick• 3 cloves garlic, minced• 1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger• 1 tsp. paprika• 1 28-oz. can diced tomatoes• 1/2 c. heavy cream• Cilantro, for garnish

DIRECTIONS:1. In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon,

turmeric, 1 teaspoon garam masala, and cumin. Toss chicken in mixture and let marinate for 15 minutes.

2. In a large Dutch oven (or wide pot) over medium high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Working in batches, add the chicken and cook until golden all over, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside chicken.

3. Reduce heat to medium and melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add the onions, jalapeños, and cinnamon stick. Cook until the onion and the jalapeños are tender, about 8 minutes. Stir in the garlic, ginger, remaining teaspoon garam masala, and paprika and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4. Add the tomatoes and bring mixture to a simmer. Add the chicken and toss to coat in the sauce. Let simmer until the chicken is cooked through, about 8 minutes.

5. Add the cream and the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and stir until the butter has melted.

6. Serve warm over basmati rice with naan.

TANDOORI CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS WITH CILANTRO-SHALLOT RELISHINGREDIENTS:• 1 tbsp. sweet paprika• 1 tbsp. garam masala• 1 tbsp. ground cumin• 1 tbsp. ground coriander• 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric• 1 tbsp. finely grated peeled fresh ginger• 4 clove garlic• 1/4 c. fat-free Greek-style yogurt

INDIAN BUTTER CHICKENINGREDIENTS:• 2 tbsp. canola oil• 3 baking potatoes• 1 head cauliflower• 3 clove garlic• 2 tsp. finely grated peeled fresh ginger• 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds• 1/2 tsp. brown mustard seeds• 1/2 tsp. ground coriander• 12 curry leaves• kosher salt• Freshly ground pepper• 1 large tomato• c. frozen peas• 1 tbsp. unsalted butter• Chopped cilantro

DIRECTIONS:1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Set a rack on

each of 2 large baking sheets. In a small skillet, toast the paprika, garam masala, cumin, coriander, and turmeric over moderately low heat, stirring, until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Transfer the spices to a medium bowl and cool slightly. Stir in the ginger, garlic, yogurt, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of the oil and season with salt and pepper.

2. Make 2 or 3 slashes in each drumstick. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with 2 tablespoons of the canola oil and season with salt and pepper. Add the spiced yogurt and rub it onto the chicken. Arrange the chicken on the racks, leaving 2 inches between the pieces. Roast for 45 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Light the broiler and broil the chicken 6 inches from the heat for about 5 minutes, until lightly charred and crisp.

3. In a small bowl, stir the cilantro, shallot, vinegar, and the remaining 1/4 cup of oil; season with salt. Serve with the chicken.

DIRECTIONS:• In a large skillet, heat the oil. Add the potatoes and cauliflower and cook over moderate heat, stirring, until golden in

spots, 7 to 8 minutes. Stir in the garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, coriander, and curry leaves and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper and add 1 1/2 cups of water. Cover and simmer over moderately low heat, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in the tomato, peas, and butter and cook for 2 minutes longer. Transfer the aloo gobi to a platter, garnish with the cilantro, and serve.
