Project Management Related to project requirements planning, customer relationship management, work planning, and resource management

• What project management experience do you have? What methods and tools do you use to keep track of the tasks and activities to ensure everything is going according to plan?

• Give an example of a time when you managed a project under a tight deadline. Describe the tools, approaches or strategies you used to manage it. Was it successful?

• Give some examples of times when you successfully collaborated with a team to complete a project. How did you go about it?

• Describe a complex project you worked on recently. Describe the process used to manage the complexities while completing the project.

• How do you help a customer, leader or stakeholder identify the key performance indicators (KPI) or requirements for a project? What is the process or approach you use to determine which ones are most important?

• Have you ever worked on a project where the project timeline or deliverable had to be renegotiated? How did you handle this?

• Have you been part of a project where the project team failed to perform? Why do you think it failed? What did you learn?

Change Management Related to situational/cultural awareness, communication design and planning, and business process management

• Describe a situation where you influenced or persuaded others to change from the way they were doing something to the way you suggested. How did you accomplish this?

• What was the greatest challenge you experienced while implementing a change in an organization? How did you handle it? What was the outcome?

• Describe a time when you had to gain sponsorship for an organizational change. What steps or actions did you take to be successful? If it wasn’t successful, what did you learn from the experience?

• How do you go about dealing with “resisters” to change in an organization? What strategies or steps do you take to work with them?

Strategic Planning Related to linking goals to process, visioning, mentoring, and scenario planning

• Describe the level of scope and complexity you have experienced while creating a strategic plan.
