The yunga, of lush vegetation and tireless shades of

green, the texture moves on in the earth growing on

the west and rising to the sky, in the encounter with

the sunset, diversified across the ranges of oranges.

Where the most extraordinary composition of

colors, including green and coral with golden

sparkles are born, opening before our eyes.

Tucumán, hill, forest, abundance, humidity,

biodiversity, elegance and life.

La YungaLa yunga, de frondosa vegetación e incasables

tonalidades de verdes, la textura avanza en la

tierra creciendo sobre el oeste y alzándose al

cielo, en el encuentro con la tarde, diversifica-

da en gamas de naranjas.

Donde nace la composición más extraordinaria

de colores, entre verdes y corales, con destellos

dorados, abriéndose ante nuestros ojos. Tucu-

mán, cerro, selva, abundancia, humedad, biodi-

versidad, elegancia y vida.

En estas colecciones, tanto de joyería e indu-

mentaria, los diseñadores plasman esa genero-

sa biodiversidad que se arraiga desde la paleta

de colores, se intensifica en la moldería, don-

de el encuentro entre planos y pliegues textiles

generan el dinamismo óptico y táctil del correr

en la ciudad, la joyería y los accesorios abren

trayecto a un universo simbólico y remixado en

lo contemporánea, naciendo un estilismo fusio-

nado entre la ciudad y lo selvático, ese fenóme-

no natural contemplado todos los días.

In these collections, both jewelry and clothing

designers embody the generous biodiversity that

is rooted from the color palette is intensified

in the geometrals, where the meeting between

textile folds and flats generate optical and tactile

dynamism of the city rush, jewelry and accessories

open a path to a symbolic universe and remixed in

contemporary, breeding a styling fused between

the city and the jungle, this natural phenomenon

referred by our daily routines.

Lorena Sosa, from 2005 until these days drives the

growth of her brand that bears her name, growing

in lines, production, combination of materials and

constant innovation in the design and morphology,

an explotion that blurs the boundaries of materials,

techniques and classifications, creating aa piece in

which knowledge from different times flows and

communicate an intimate result.

Lorena Sosa desde 2005 hasta hoy impulsa el

crecimiento de su marca, que lleva su nombre,

haciendo crecer en líneas, producción, combi-

nación de materiales y la innovación constante

en el diseño y la morfología, una explosión que

difumina los límites de los materiales, las técni-

cas y las clasificaciones, generando una pieza en

el cual desembocan conocimientos de diversos

tiempos y comunican un resultado personal.



GONZALOVILLAMAX

Gonzalo Villamax, self-taught illustrator and

fashion designer, creates in 2009 Villamax,

reflecting his intuition, sensibility and the need

to express and say. This way he conceives this

proposal of male and female casual clothing.

His creative process is born with graphic approach,

from drawn sketches and subsequent intervention.

The morphological language defines their parts

based on constructive ways, pure and simple lines.

A monochromatic palette of neutral colors also

determines his design seal.

Gonzalo Villamax, Ilustrador y diseñador de in-

dumentaria autodidacta, crea en el año 2009

Villamax como reflejo de su intuición, sensibili-

dad y ante la necesidad de expresar y de decir.

Así concibe una propuesta de indumentaria ca-

sual masculina y femenina.

Su proceso creativo nace con el partido gráfico,

a partir de bocetos dibujados y su posterior in-

tervención. El lenguaje morfológico que define

sus piezas está basado en formas constructivas

puras y líneas simples. Una paleta de colores

neutra y monocromática también determina su

sello de diseño.



Dos diseñadores tucumanos, fueron dis-tinguidos para mostrar sus colecciones de verano en la pasarela más importante de Colombia, COLOMBIA MODA 2014, en el marco de la Semana de la Moda, y en pa-ralelo a esta distinción formaran parte del Stand Institucional de Argentina.

Los diseñadores Lorena Sosa y Gonza-lo Villamax, trabajan y sostienen en for-ma ininterrumpida desde hace 5 años, el crecimiento y expansión de sus empre-sas como referentes del sector, al mismo tiempo que impulsan el desarrollo de la industria textil en la provincia de Tucumán,

atrayendo la mirada de expertos, compra-dores y prensa a nivel mundial a nuestra provincia, la región y el país, abriendo ca-minos a la gestión de esta nueva econo-mía, fortaleciendo lazos de intercambio de conocimientos y saberes en las ciuda-des anfitrionas de cada evento en el que participan, promoviendo el diseño y la compleja trazabilidad de la visón del norte, conceptualizada y plasmada en la mate-rialización piezas de joyería e indumenta-ria, integrando a la construcción actual de sus estilismo, aspectos tradicionales, sim-bólicos y geográficos de nuestra cultura.

Two designers from Tucumán, were honored to

showcase their summer collections at the most

important Colombian runway, the COLOMBIA

MODA 2014, as part of Fashion Week, and they’ll

be part of the Argentinian Institutional Stand.

The designers Lorena Sosa and Gonzalo Villamax,

maintain and work nonstop since 5 years ago,

the growth and expansion of their businesses

as an industry benchmark, while driving the

development of the textile industry in Tucumán,

attracting the interest of experts, media buyers

and global level to our province, the region and

the country, opening the way to manage this

new economy, strengthening ties of knowledge

exchange and wisdom in the host cities for each

event in which they participate, promoting design

and complex traceability of the north’s point of

view, conceptualized and embodied in the pieces

of jewelry and clothing materialization, integrating

the current builts of their styling, traditional,

symbolic and geographic aspects of our culture.
