sends a team of volunteers to Guatemala every two years. They work with our ministry center and a church in the city of Gualán doing construction projects, mission outreach and children’s programs. The experience has resulted in rich and lasting relationships. “We go and we serve and we give in response to the Holy Spirit’s work in us,” one participant told us, “but afterward we always feel as if we received more than we gave. You can’t get that feeling from any other facet of life!”

Global OutreachHere’s how Lutheran Hour Ministries carries out its

mission of Bringing Christ to the Nations—and the Nations to the Church in more than 30 countries worldwide:

• Radio broadcasts of locally produced programs

• Bible Correspondence Courses tailored for personal and private exploration of the Gospel

• Equipping the Saints evangelism workshops to strengthen volunteers’ understanding of witnessing

• Holistic outreach that shares the love of God in words and demonstrates it in action

• Music, drama and puppet ministries that use traditional songs and entertainment to teach about Jesus

• Rallies that attract large crowds in both rural communities and urban centers

Lutheran Hour Ministries’ outreach centers in more than 30 countries around the world use an innovative approach to spreading the Gospel.

Staff members at each center train lay volunteers to share the Gospel in their own communities, in their own language. People who respond are invited to learn more, to connect to a local church, to receive baptism and… to become lay volunteers so they can share the Gospel with still more people!

You will become engaged in global outreach ministry by interacting directly with

an LHM ministry center and committing your ongoing prayers and support.

in evangelism, building projects, VBS, children’s events, medical clinics, and much more, in partnership with an LHM ministry center.
