Oct 2010  : Yamauchi et.al. (KEK Belle) visit → Particle Physics School in South East Asia

Making  use  of  existing  infrastructures  +  available  human  resources  in the near future   calling back respective young people to build the team !→

Focus : ­ involvement in global collaboration / large scale experiments       ­ contribution to the global grid through existing computing power

LIPI's Cluster   Lab of Bioinformatics + repository→2013  ­ ca 150 nodes (@ 8 cores)  = 1200 cores

­ RAM 1 GB / core = 1.2 TB + 256 GB­ Storage 0.5 TB / node = 75 TB + 40 TB NAS­ Dual Gigabit (2 Gbps) interconnection­ 300 Mbps dedicated international connection through layer 2 FO

2014    ­ ca 100 nodes (@ 16 cores) = 1600 cores­ RAM 8 GB / cores  = 12.8 TB­ Storage 1 TB / node  = 100 TB + 40 TB NAS­ Infiniband (40 Gbps) interconnection­ Additional and dedicated international bandwith ?!

● Building a team formed by primary persons in the repective fields­ Suharyo (UC Riverside / CMS) + Nowo (Ohio Univ / ALICE) + Anton (LBL / Phoenix)

 → formal recruitment as permanent staff in 2013 (?!)­ Students at UI / abroad

● Send students to study abroad for secondary layer in the future­ Young students to CERN, some schools, ...­ Foreign / Indonesia government scholarships

● Focus on 'starting collaboration', no matter the topicsALICE / CMS / Belle   available people, funding, ...→

● Establishing formal involvement   first step : Associate Member (?!)→
