AND WATCHKEEPING FOR SEAFARERS (STCW), 1978, AS AMENDED

New format for the Certificate of Proficiency issued by the

Government of the Republic of the Philippines

Communication received from the Government of the Republic of the Philippines The Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization has the honour to transmit a communication received from the Government of the Philippines.

The Government of the Philippines has advised that it has adopted a new format for the Certificate of Proficiency effective from 15 March 2014.

Copies of the new format of the certificate of proficiency are attached in the annex.

The Secretary-General would be grateful if steps could be taken to bring this information to the attention of the appropriate authorities.
