To characterize and optimize the performance of direct material; eg, Au/Cu Wires, Solder Flux, Solder balls, Paste for WB BGA and Flip chip Packages. Source and develop new materials to meet new packages / new industrial requirement.

Degree in Material Eng. or relevant field preferably with Metallurgical expertise. Minimum 5 years experience in semiconductor industry/Material Development Eng. Experience in Material Research and Development activities. Experience in DOE software, Statistical tools and Project management skills. Experienced Ball Attach Process/Flip chip/WB process.

Ensure updated assembly technical data in DEAL for production. Create & release Assembly Information (technical data) as per Assembly Information Requisition form submitted by project leaders. Check Assembly Specification release workflow, Specification & Bonding Diagram (abide to Backend Design Rule), release workflow to next signature loop. Provide Bonding Diagram conversion support in change management projects, eg, projects that involve change in package nomenclature or lead-frame/substrate part number.
