Source, characterize, develop, and implement new Direct Material meeting product specification and business requirement. To characterize and optimize the performance of direct material; eg, Au/Cu Wires, Solder Flux, Solder balls, Paste for WB BGA and Flip chip Packages. Source and develop new materials to meet new packages / new industrial requirement.

Degree in Material Eng. or relevant field preferably with Metallurgical expertise. Minimum 5 years experience in semiconductor industry/Material Development Eng. Experience in Material Research and Development activities. Experience in DOE software, Statistical tools and Project management skills. Experienced Ball Attach Process/Flip chip/WB process.

Provide Bonding Diagram conversion support in change management projects, eg, projects that involve change in package nomenclature or lead-frame/substrate part number.
