ABOUT THE PROJECT
Quest worked with UCL & Whittington Hospital to develop a new shared facility within the Highgate wing. The project saw the design and build of a new library facility and teaching rooms which spread across two floors within a live building.

PROJECT CHALLENGES
The project was fast track which meant a close partnership with the client team was required at all key milestones to ensure the project was a success.
One of the main goals of the project was to achieve a Ska Gold rating, which meant that Quest’s lean construction processes were focused from the beginning.
Being a refurbishment, it meant every item to be removed or installed need to be vetted to ensure Gold Rating was achieved.
Quest Interiors completed the project ahead of schedule and successfully achieved the Ska Gold Rating for the project.

Operated by RICS, SKA Rating is an environmental assessment tool for sustainable fit-outs.
The SKA rating means that Quest Interiors were able to measure 100% of the environmental performance of the fit-out contract.
SKA comprises more than a hundred 'good practice' measures covering energy and CO2 emissions, waste, water, materials, pollution, wellbeing and transport.
