WHO I AMI am experienced in high end hospitality and residential design and find them most interesting. From that experience and through school, I have discovered that I excel at conceptual design work, space planning, and presentation. I can envision a space well before it is conceived. I thrive on working on more than one project at once. Working on multiple projects not only keeps me interested, it inspires me to give my best work. In the future, design that incorporates historic preservation is a goal of mine.
WHAT I BELIEVE INI believe in green design, reusing buildings we have rather than building new. I have had the opportunity to work with remodel and renovation projects on co-op and believe that is the best way design works. In cities, such as Cincinnati, there is potential to renew old neighborhoods and make the city vibrant again. There are challenges when working with existing conditions, but that is part of the design development. Reuse is design for the future, rather than constructing new and developing more land on our Earth, use what buildings we have instead of tearing down or leaving them vacant.
