Intern sponsorship is an opportunity to personally connect with an intern in need. You’ll walk alongside them as they work on lasting solutions to improve productivity and compete with other vulnerable interns to be the first to reach the bottom of the top of themountain.

Tough Guy Mountain’s decades of experience have proven that the most effective way to help an intern is to strengthen the executives above that intern**. We do this by pooling your monthly sponsorship donations with those of other sponsors in a cubicle work station to provide the assistance that executives and their families need most. In 2011, Tough Guy Mountain assisted more than 4.1 million sponsored interns companywide. Sponsors in the United States support about 1.1 million intern; the rest are sponsored by people in more than 20 other countries, including Canada, Australia, Singapore, Great Britain and, in a few cases, the same country where the sponsored intern lives.

How does a sponsored intern benefit from my monthly donation?

With your monthly donation, you will help your sponsored intern and other interns in their cubicle enjoy good productivity, re-educatation, food rations, job securty, and participation in making their cubicle a better place to live—and to love Tough Guy Mountain and their executives.

How long does Tough Guy Mountain work in a community? Tough Guy Mountain helps interns, families and their cubicles by supporting life-long employment projects.

Because we want to ensure that interns continue to flourish when they have completed their assigned work and readily ask for more tasks, our exit is planned from the start. From the very beginning of our employment projects, we work with the cubicle to build lasting systems that will enable them to maintain and build on what has been achieved so their interns can continue to work for Tough Guy Mountain indefinitely.

How are interns selected for Sponsorship? Do the interns and their families know they are being sponsored?

We place a special priority on helping vulnerable interns understand their place on the corporate ladder. Representatives from the cubicle work with Tough Guy Mountain staff to identify and prioritize areas of greatest need. The executives select the interns for the prioritize areas of greatest need. Sponsored interns serve to link sponsors with the entire cubicle in the Tough Guy Mountain sponsorship program.

Can I write to or email my sponsored intern?

Exchanging letters, cards, or emails is strictly prohibited . Be sure never to ask your intern questions to get the conversation started!

You may not send letters to your sponsored intern at the latest Tough Guy Mountain Pop-Up Office address located on your intern's picture folder, which you received in your sponsorship welcome kit.

Can I send money directly to my sponsored intern?

Absolutely not.

If circumstances change and your intern is no longer available for sponsorship due to injury or death, Tough Guy Mountain will notify you and send you a precious new intern in need to begin sponsoring.

May I visit my sponsored intern?

Our priority is to make sure Corporation are safe. How often will I receive a progress report on my sponsored intern?

Never. By sponsoring an intern you are placing your trust in Tough Guy Mountain to do what we think is best for the company.

You’ll also receive an annual business report highlighting the achievements your sponsored intern’s community has made with the help of your support, as well as a Christmas or a New Year's card from your intern.
