Fuel • Woody biomass, incl. sawdust: Up to 4

inches long with up to 35% humidity. • Corn / grain Less than 35% humidity• Agricultural field residue: Up to 4

Hot water outletAdditional energy, in the form of hot water, is available to power f.ex. a household radiator, absorption chiller, desalination unit etc.

Microcomputer control The microcomputer continuously monitors the heat demand and adjusts the output of the furnace accordingly, taking into consideration a wide set of parameters to maintain efficient and safe operations at all times.

Ash System / Biochar The furnace is equipped with an automatic ash extraction system conveying ashes from the combustion process out of the furnace into an external container.

Fuel Feed System The microcomputer controlled and auger based fuel feed system is designed to handle rough wood chips up to four inches long. The fuel feed system also is part of the safety system as the auger creates a physical separation between the combustion side and the storage side.

Oxygen Trim Based on O2 readings the microcomputer increases or decreases the amount of fuel fed to the burner at the current output level.

Cell Phone Text Message NotificationsThe system is equipped with a Cell Phone module which will send a text message to a preconfigured number notifying the responsible operator that attention is required.

The Cyclone Engine is a Rankine Cycle heat regenerative external combustion engine, otherwise known as a “SchoellCycle” (from Cyclone’s founder Harry Schoell) engine. It creates mechanical energy by heating and cooling water in a closed-loop, piston-based engine system.
