Hollister, Hong Kong & China
U.S. casual wear retailer, Hollister, expanded into the Asian market with the opening of stores in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The Hong Kong store is located at Festival Walk in Kowloon, and the Shanghai store is at Raffles City in the Puxi district. Kingsmen fitted-out both stores, showcasing Hollister’s trademark all-American look with a California beach concept.

Christian Louboutin, China
Christian Louboutin opened its very first boutique in China in 2011. The store in Shanghai brings a unique style of traditional oriental décor such as Shanghai residential roof tiles, box scales, and a façade made of metal lacquer boards resembling dragon scales that are associated with the Chinese Zodiac.

Sephora, Malaysia
Famed beauty and cosmetics emporium, Sephora, arrived in Kuala Lumpur to much fanfare. The duplex 10,000-square-foot flagship store at Starhill Gallery features a long colour wall and counter for beauty enthusiasts to try make-up products. Attractive display units and glossy fixtures were also produced to enhance the brand’s appeal to customers. Kingsmen also produced Sephora’s stores at ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City in Singapore.

Chanel, Malaysia
French luxury brand Chanel recently relocated to the upscale shopping mall, Suria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur, with a store spanning over 4,000 square feet. Kingsmen has collaborated with Chanel for their stores in Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Carl F. Bucherer, Japan
Situated in the upscale shopping district of Ginza, this duplex luxury boutique occupies 1,000 square feet of retail space at ground level and a 2,000-square-foot VIP area on the second floor. Designed by Ottavio Di Chio of La Cellula Lab, the store was built to reflect the iconic brand’s understated elegance.
The world’s fifth largest watch manufacturer, Titan Industries, engaged Kingsmen to roll-out stores in different locations across India. The first phase of the new “World of Titan” stores was successfully completed and we look forward to more stores to come.

Bershka, Indonesia
Spanish retailer, Desigual, has opened its first boutique in Fukuoka, Japan. The 4,700-square-foot store contains unconventional design elements from Desigual and was specially built with non-combustible materials; thus enhancing fire safety and making the store more eco-friendly.

With stores at Plaza Indonesia, Central Park Mall and Senayan City in Jakarta, Bershka is the casual wear brand to watch. The 5,121-square-foot store at Plaza Indonesia features a custom floor-to-ceiling showcase and bold neon-coloured walls.

Balenciaga, Indonesia
Kingsmen fitted-out Balenciaga’s 1,316-square-foot boutique at Plaza Indonesia in Jakarta. Hexagon back wall display niches and an assortment of standing display cubes were implemented to showcase Balenciaga’s signature bags.
ToTT, Singapore
Kingsmen designed and built a 36,000-square-foot kitchen wonderland for Sia Huat, one of Singapore’s leading homeware & cookware retailers. ToTT (Tools of the Trade) is home to a bistro, cookbook corner, children’s play area, Bake&Go counter and a retail section that carries exclusive cooking, baking and hosting-related merchandise.
Robinsons’ third store spanning 20,800 square feet is at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Designed by Michelgroup, the store recreates an exclusive retail experience with private fitting rooms, intricate fixtures and existing displays.

Porsche’s boutique at Marina Bay Sands was designed by Porsche Design studio and architects, Blocher Blocher Partners. Kingsmen fulfilled the design concept by fabricating and fitting-out the store’s sleek fixtures and lighting installations.

LG Live at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

LG Live at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is an interactive concept store that is the first-of-its-kind in Asia. The 3,767-square-foot LG store designed by Dutch agency, Storeage, used the “conceal and reveal” concept, where LG’s advanced technologies were revealed via interactive media and actual product testing.

Fat Cow, Singapore
Fisherman's Market, Singapore
Fisherman’s Market draws inspiration from the renowned Fulton Fish Market beneath New York’s iconic Brooklyn Bridge. Located along the Singapore River at Central in Clarke Quay, the 10,000-square-foot duplex restaurant features a full bar, a 60-seater diner and a spacious 300-seater buffet dining area on the second floor.
Located at Camden Medical Centre along Orchard Road, the 3,000-square-foot Fat Cow restaurant-bar was a joint collaboration between Kingsmen and design agency, Brewin Concepts. It features posh private rooms and custom fixtures like a three-dimensional cubic grid. Fat Cow has since been featured in a number of publications lauding its cuisine and attractive design.
Designed by Kingsmen, Cadova Wine Cellar occupies 1,600 square feet space and features a combination of exposed brick walls and wooden planks to create an inviting atmosphere for customers. Wine barrels were specially imported, altered and fixed into the bar display to showcase Cadova Wine Cellar’s signature brand.

Cadova Wine Cellar, Vietnam
One of the world's largest Japanese curry chains, Curry House CoCo ICHIBANYA, opened another restaurant in Bangkok, bringing the total in Thailand to sixteen. The 915-square-foot restaurant at MBK Center features smooth wooden fixtures and warm ambient lighting fitted-out by Kingsmen.

William E. Connor, Vietnam
Kingsmen worked closely with Hewlett-Packard Korea Ltd to construct a 1,800-square-foot store-in-store for the HP Total Care Center at Yongsan Terminal Electric Market in Seoul.
Global merchandise-sourcing company, William E. Connor’s new corporate office was designed to showcase their internationally-sourced product range. Kingsmen was behind the design and construction of the 7,800-square-foot space, complete with custom display wall shelves and sleek furniture for a conducive work environment.

Kingsmen opened its 18th office in Shenzhen, the People’s Republic of China. The new office will tap on the tremendous opportunities present in South China and enhance the Group’s capabilities to meet its clients’ needs in this region. The Group’s offices in the People’s Republic of China now include Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong S.A.R and Macau S.A.R.
Kingsmen’s 35th anniversary was a dazzling event at the Ritz Carlton Millennia on 16 December, where distinguished guests gathered to celebrate this special milestone. The ballroom and cocktail reception areas were dressed to the nines and Kingsmen staff showcased their creativity and talents with their renditions of classic Broadway musicals like CATS, The Phantom of the Opera, The King & I, and My Fair Lady.
Kingsmen donated a total of 200,000 SGD to the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) at our 35th Anniversary Dinner & Dance through a charity auction of Iskandar Jalil’s ceramic pieces and those made by the visually-impaired and our staff. Prior to that, our staff also sold ceramic mugs made by the SAVH potters and a charity golf tournament was held to raise funds for this worthy cause.

Abercrombie & Fitch opened their very first flagship store in Southeast Asia at luxe retail development, Knightsbridge in December 2011. The store spans a space of approximately 21,000 square feet comprising four storeys, with three storeys for men and one for women. Working with Abercrombie & Fitch’s design team, the store was fitted-out to evoke an ambience in line with their brand values.
