Visualizing Success… Consistent attendance at every meeting: 20-30 I&M Chapter would have an identity
Members are involved at higher levels of IEEE Volunteers are plentiful
Members’ employers value membership in IEEE and our chapter
Goals for 2013 Average attendance of 20-25 at each meeting Hold at least 6 chapter meetings (3 spring, 3 fall) Hold 1 social event

Proposed IEEE CTS I&M Chapter Vision Statement
…I&M Chapter Vision Statement The vision of the IEEE CTS I&M Chapter is to become the
preferred professional association of choice for engineers, scientists, faculty and students working or interested in the instrumentations and measurements in Central Texas.

Proposed IEEE CTS I&M Chapter Mission Statement
… The Mission of the IEEE CTS I&M Chapter is to: Facilitate the contact of our members among themselves and other engineers, scientists, faculty and students for the
dissemination and discussion of multidisciplinary technical ideas as they relate to Instrumentation and Measurements. Promote the importance of instrumentation and measurement professionals in the design, implementation and operation of
engineering and scientific projects, both in industry, government and academia. Be the catalysts and facilitator among the three primary society constituencies-industrial, academic and student members. Provide a climate which would allow the interaction of well established members with Graduates of the Last Decade, student
members and vice-versa.

IEEE I&M SocietyQuestionnaire
Why do they belong to the I&M Society? Do they read the magazine and if so, what are they looking
for? Have they attended an I&M conference? If so, what did they
find useful? Would they attend again? If not, what would convince them to attend?
What support do they need for chapter meetings?
