INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS LOCATIONThis appliance must be installed on firm flooring to minimizevibration during spin cycle. Concrete flooring is best, butwood base is sufficient, provided floor support meets FHAstandards. This appliance should not be installed on rugs orexposed to weather.

PLUMBINGWATER PRESSURE- Must be 20 psi minimum to 120 psimaximum.WATERTEMPERATURE- Householdwater heater should be setto deliver water at 120° to !50°F (50° to 66°C)INTHEWASHERwhen hot wash is selected.SHUTOFFVALVES- Both hot and cold shutoffvalves (faucets)should be supplied.DRAIN- Water may be drained into standpipe or set tub.Discharge height MUST NOTBELESSTHAN 30 INCHES,andno more than 8 feet above the base of the washer. Standpipemust be 1-1/2 inches minimum inside diameter and must beopen to atmosphere.

Level and stabilizing your appliance!. Carefully move the appliance to its final location. Gently rock

the appliance into position. It is important not to damage therubber leveling legs when moving your appliance to its finallocation. Damaged legs can increase appliance vibration. Itmay be helpful to spray window cleaner on the floor to helpmove your appliance to its final position.Note: Do not use washer cover to lift the unit.

2. To ensure the appliance is level and solid on all four legs,tilt the appliance forward so the rear legs are off theground. Gently set the appliance back down to allow therear legs to self adjust.

3. With the appliance in its final position, place a level on topof back part of the washer lid and check it side to side,then check front to back. Screw the front leveling legs upor down to ensure the appliance is resting solid on all fourlegs (no rocking or the appliance should exist), turn thelock nuts on each leg up toward the base of the unit andsnug with a wrench.

Note: Keepthe leg extension at minimum to prevent excessivevibration. The farther out legs are extended, the more the unitwill vibrate.

the appliance water inlet hose connections. The faucetsmust be 3/4" garden hose-type so inlet hoses can beconnected.

. WATERPRESSURE- Must be between !0 and 120 poundsper square inch with a maximum unbalance pressure,hot vs. cold flowing, of !0 pounds per square inch.

. WATERTEMPERATURE- Water heater should be set todeliver !20°F (50°C) in the washer when HOT wash isselected.

, SHUT-OFFVALVES- Both hot and cold water shut-off

valves (faucets) should be supplied.. LOCATION- Do not install appliance in an area where the

DRAIN REQUIREMENTS

. DRAIN RATE- The drain or standpipe must be capableof accepting a discharge at the rate of 16 gallons perminute.

, DRAINHEIGHT- The drain height must be 33" minimumand 96" maximum.

. STANDPIPEDIAMETER- The standpipe diameter mustbe 1-1/2" minimum. There MUST be an air gap aroundthe drain hose in the standpipe. A snug fit can cause asiphoning action.

, SIPHONBREAKKIT- For a drain facility lessthan 33" high,the hose, coupling and clamps provided in the machinemust be used and, in addition, a siphon break MUST beinstalled on the back of the machine. Use Siphon BreakKit WH49X228 and follow instructions in the kit.

REQUISITOS DE INSTALACI6N UBICACI6NEsteelectrodom6stico se debe instalar en un piso firme a finde minimizar la vibraci6n durante el ciclo de centrifugado.Se recomiendan los pisos de concreto, pero una base demadera es suficiente, siempre que dicho piso cumpla conlos est6ndares de FHA. Esteelectrodom6stico no se deber6

instalar sobre tapetes ni estar expuesto la interperie.

PLOMERIA

PRESIONDELAGUA- Debe set de un m[nimo de 20 psiy unm6ximo de 120 psi PRESIONDELAGUA - El calentador deagua del hogar deber6 estar configurado para que el aguaest6 entre 120° y 150°F(50°y 66°0 ENLALAVADORAcuandose seleccione lavado caliente.VALVULASDE CIERRE- Tantola vdlvula de cierre de agua caliente como la de agua fr[a(grifos) deber6n ser suministradas.DRENAJE- Elagua podr6ser drenada al tubo de subida o el tubo configurado. Laalturade descarga NO DEBERASERINFERIORA 30 PULGADAS,ono m6s de 8 pies sobre la base de la lavadora. 7. Adjunte el cable o tierra del cable de corriente altornillo verde de conexi6n a tierra (agujero sabre elsoporte del amortiguador con refuerzo). Ajuste todoslos tornillos (3)del bloque de terminales firmemente.

8. Asegure el cable de corriente al amortiguador conrefuerzo.

9. Vuelva a instalar la tapa.
