Instructions for using the Ipad with Apple TV

1. Plug in the wireless router. Wait until the blue light illuminates.

2. Plug in the Apple TV and (if necessary, pressing menu on the remote

connect it to the Wireless router.) The Apple TV should connect

automatically.) 3. Turn on the projector and using its remote set the projector to #6 HDMI.

4. If you are using the internet, plug the blue Ethernet cord into the router in

any of the four Ethernet connections. 5. With the Ipad, go into Settings change the wireless setting to the router.

In my case I change the wireless setting from Methodist University to

IpadGenius11.

Once the Ipad is connected to the router, close settings and go to the home button on the Ipad and depressed it twice. Slide the bar at the bottom to the right. The Home button is the button on the frame of the Ipad. Press the Apple TV button, open Mirroring and go the application that you want to use or open the file that you want to use.

6. Screen may go blank if there is no activity. Touch the Ipad screen and

your file will reappear. 7. Adaptor _ Use this device if your projection system only has a VGA cable

to access it. Connect the VGA to the projection system and the Apple to the HDMI port.
