Facial Steamer Instructions• Using only TAP WATER, fill the water container between the two red lines. • Add essential oil or herb satchel into basket only. Do not add directly to water.• While the water is heating, turn the steamer arm away from the client. • Once the arm begins releasing steam, switch the Ozone on. • The steam arm should remain between 12-18 inches from the client’s face (no closer than 12 inches). • Steam treatments should last 4-10 minutes. • Upon completion of steaming, turn off the Ozone switch, power down the heating element, and empty out the steamer jar.• Warning: Heating tube will not heat if the water jar has no water or if the water level is lower than the probe. Turn off the timer switch when the machine rings, then fill with TAP WATER.

WA R N I N G Do not fill past the water level indicated on the water cup. If you do, scalding water will eject from the unit. USE ONLY TAP WATER. All other types of water will damage

the machine and it will not work.

NEVER refill cold water into your steamer while it is in operation. Use hot TAP WATER ONLY. The sudden temperature change of the cold and boiling water in the jar has the potential to damage the heating element. Consider preheating your steamer 2-3 minutes before each client. This will minimize the wait a client experiences before steam treatment begins.

After your treatment day:• Empty all remaining liquid out of the steamer jar and clean jar with a clean towel.

Deep Cleaning (Performed Weekly):With proper care, your eMark Beauty Facial Steamer will serve you faithfully for years to come. Your maintenance routine should include a weekly deep cleaning. Take these steps to remove mineral buildup in the facial steamer components and keep your heating element clean:1. Add 1/4 cup of white wine vinegar to the steamer jar and fill the remaining space in the jar to the max water line with TAP WATER.2. Turn on the steamer and let it heat to steaming. There is no need for Ozone in the cleaning phase. Allow steaming process to continue for 5-7 minutes.3. Turn off the steamer and allow the water to completely cool (about 15 minutes). 4. Empty and rinse jar. Refill the jar to the max water line with TAP WATER.5. Turn on the steamer and let it heat to steaming. There is no need for Ozone in the cleaning phase. Allow steaming process to continue for 10-15 minutes to clean out all the scent of vine-gar. Turn off the steamer and allow it to cool down.6. Empty the jar, dry it with a clean towel, and store it.

Herbs and oils:1. Remove herb basket from the top of the steamer. It can be pulled off, no unscrewing necessary. NOTE: Dampen the 2 o-rings (red and clear) to ease insertion and removal. 2. Select any herbs you want to use for the treatment. Wrap the herbs in a cloth or place in a satchel and insert into the herb basket.3. Select any oils you want to use for the treatment. Add a couple of drops to a piece of cloth or gauze, then insert into the herb basket. 4. After your treatment day, empty all of the remaining liquid out of the steamer jar, then clean the jar with a clean towel.Warning: Never put oils or herbs directly in water.
