3. Product function and usage

3.1 Login the gateway

1）Launch the software

Launch the [smart home] software in apps and enter into welcome interface as following:

2）Connect the gateway

Enter into the main interface, click [Login] to open the dialogue box as following:

Initial [Account] information can be acquired from the label behind the gateway;

Initial [Password] is the last 6 characters of the [Account];

Please refer to the [Account setup] in [Setup] for the function of the password modification;

Operation steps: Input the right account information and password, then click [OK] to connect

with the gateway devices.

3.2 Control function

1）Scene control

Four types of the scene mode are provided: Outdoor, Home, Sleep, Customize.

Can customize to set detail affairs for each scene under the current scene, please refer to the

[Scene control] in [Set];

Operation steps: Click scene icon to realize scene switch, so all the affairs in the current scene

[Scene setup] can be controlled.

2）Security control

Alarm status (alarm and normal) and defending status (defending and defend withdrawal) of all

the security sensor devices can be viewed or controlled from the current interface.

Alarm status: Big blue icon means normal status, big red icon means alarming.

Defending status: Lock type of the small icon means defending, unlock status of the small icon

means defend withdrawal.

Operation steps: Click the icon to realize the switchover between defending and defend

withdrawing.

3）Light control

All the dimmers and switches in each area can be viewed and controlled from the current

interface.

Devices in different areas can be switched at switchover area, please refer to the [Sensor setup] in

[Set] for device area setup, please refer to the [Area setup] in [Set] for area customization;

Operation steps: Click the icon to realize device control.

4）Socket control

All the sockets in each area can be viewed and controlled from the current interface.

5）Infrared A.C control

Temperature and humidity sensor and IR A.C controller in each area can be viewed and controlled

from the current interface.

Devices in different areas can be switched at switchover area, please refer to the [Sensor setup] in

[Set] for device area setup, please refer to the [Area setup] in [Set] for area customization;

Operation steps: Click the icon to realize device control.

Device needs to be learnt first, learning steps are as below:

1. Switch to [Learning] mode first when starts learning, click the button which needs

learning(button status is gray at this moment which means waiting for learning signals’ return,

please learn it again if the time is out);

2. Pick up the IR remote controller (customer prepared for themselves) at once after the button is

pressed, then aim at IR receiving mouth of the device to press down corresponding functional

key;

3. After device receives learning signals, operated button status before will return to normal.

4. Switch to [Control] mode after learning is completed, then corresponding functional keys on

IR controller can be realized by buttons on the interface.

6）IR curtain control

IR curtain controller in each area can be viewed or controlled from the current interface.

Operation steps: Please refer to the [IR A.C control].

7）Environment monitor

Status and data of all the monitoring sensor devices can be viewed from the current interface.

Operation steps: Click the list item to refresh the data.

8）DVR monitor

Remote surveillance can be realized from the current interface (Huge flow rate can be generated

by this function, please use it under the circumstance of WIFI connected)

Configuration requirements:

1. Network frame (gateway, monitor host and router)

2. Router setup

[WAN side]: Network can be accessed if you set the account which is provided by network service

provider

[LAN side]: Start DHCP

[Port forwarding]: Monitor IP (like 192.168.0.70), port mapping (like 12201)

[Port forwarding]Setup can consult to router supplier or view router specification.

3. Monitor setup

[Cancel the alarm]：Main menu-> configuration-> exception handling-> “choose” hard disk is

wrong -> cancel the sound

[Set IP]：Main menu-> configuration-> Network configuration-> basic configuration->"IP, subnet

mask, default gateway, DNS"

For example：IP: 192.168.0.70

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.000

Default gateway: 192.168.0.1

DNS preferred: 218.2.135.1

[Set port]：Main menu--> configuration-> Network configuration-> Advance configuration->"

Server port"

For example：：12201

4. Software setup

[Port]: Default to 12201 (It must be concordant with server port of the monitor setup)

[User name]: Default to admin (It must be concordant with username of the monitor setup)

[Password]: Default to 12345 (It must be concordant with password of the monitor setup)

3.3 Setup function

1）Scene setup

Operational mode of the devices (timing, automation, bind control) under each scene mode can be

set from the current interface.

Operation steps: After setup is completed, please launch it and select the scene from [scene

control] in [Control function].

2）Sensor setup

Each device name and its belonging area can be set from the current interface.

3）Area setup

Each area name or adding customized area can be set from the current interface.

4）Account setup

Password information of the account can be modified from the current interface. (Suggest

modifying the initial password)

3.4 More function

1）Weather forecast

Local weather forecast can be viewed at the current interface (GPS function must be launched).

2）Message recording

All the alarm recording happened before can be viewed from the current interface.

Operation steps:

『Delete』：Delete the selected records.

3）Data synchronization

Sensor setup, area setup, scene setup can be set synchronized to server from local from the current

interface, as well as synchronize to local from the server, so information synchronization from

many client devices like mobile phone, tablet can be realized.
