Installation Instruction Dave (18.2.2015)

Procedure to Install DavE_v.2: 1) Download DAvE2.2r2.zip from http://www.ee.hm.edu/fk04/profs/irber.de.html

and unzip it

goto step 4

-Or Download “DAvE_Mothersystem_v2_2r2.zip” from http:\\www.infineon.com\dave

-or use the file on your CD CD164\DAvE2.2r2\setup.exe, see step 4

Push “DOWNLOAD” Button

in the section

DAVE™ version 3.1.10 as

zipped file package

2) Download file.

3) Unzip DAvE_Mothersystem_v2_2r2.zip on your computer.

After unpacking of the zip file there are 3 files:

setup.exe

C164CI.DIP

DAvE_MOTHERSYSTEM_RELEASE_NOTES_v2_2R2.pdf

4) Now run setup.exe for installation.

The download

window will open.

Collect “Safe File”

and push “OK”

Push “Next”

Push “Next”

Confirm path

Push “Next” Push “Install”

Push “Finish” Push “OK”

And the computer

will be restarted

Push “Accept”

5) Use the C164CI.DIP – file

and store it in your installation directory Dave.

Hint: DIP stands for Dave Integration Package

and is necessary to tell Dave which controller you are going to use.

6) Start DAVE the first time for configuration:

Use Shortcut

Push “Forward” Push “Forward”

Push “Install” Push “Forward” Push “End”

Browse path were

C164CI.DIP file is

located

Push “Forward”

Choose “local drive”
