Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidentalshort circuit.

Unclip and remove climate controlpanel below radio. (Figure A)

Slide the DIN cage into the RadioHousing and secure by bending themetal locking tabs down. (Figure A)

Slide the aftermarket radio into thecage and secure. (Figure B)

Snap the pocket into the housing.(Figure C)

Mount the ISO Brackets to the headunit with the screws supplied withthe unit. (Figure A)

Slide the head unit into the radioopening until the side clips engage.(Figure B)

Snap the Trim plate into the RadioHousing. (Figure B)

Cut and remove the center bar fromthe 99-7869 radio housing. (Figure A)

Snap the Double DIN trim plate intothe radio housing. (Figure C)

Snap the Double DIN brackets to theinside edge of the 99-7869 radiohousing. (Figure B)

Slide the Double DIN radio into the-bracket/trim plate assembly andsecure the radio to the assemblyusing the screws supplied with theradio. (Figure C)

Cut and remove the center bar fromthe 99-7869 radio housing. (Figure A)

Snap the Double DIN trim plate intothe radio housing. (Figure C)

Snap the Double DIN brackets to theinside edge of the 99-7869 radiohousing. (Figure B)

Slide the Stacked ISO units into thebracket/trim plate assembly andsecure the units to the assemblyusing the screws supplied with theradio. (Figure C)

FINAL ASSEMBLY1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown.

Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections asshown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to preventelectrical short circuit.)

2 Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.3 Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly.

Make wiring connections using the EIA color code chart shown below and the instructions included with the headunit. Metra recommends making connections as shown below; Strip, Splice, Solder, Tape. Isolate and individuallytape off ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
