The Arctic Monkeys In this shot of the The Arctic Monkeys, the lead singer is at the front of the others, he appears to be the ‘coolest’ smoking a cigarette and buttoning his jacket.

The photo is in medium shot , and they seem to be stood in order of importance in the band.They all are smartly dressed in black suits and not smiling, one is wearing sun glasses. This further exaggerates the concept of them being ’cool’.

The location is very remote where there is little life. And they stand out from the location wish could reflect them standing out from society.
