Insight Consulting Partners recognizes the need for high quality consulting advice that increases the value companies receive from their people, processes and technology in the HR business function. With over 17 years of experience helping companies evaluate, develop, and implement HR technology and processes, Insight Consulting Partners has the experience, perspective and depth required to achieve and sustain value in the HR function. We have helped our clients implement new HR systems and outsourcing providers, improve the efficiency of their system and business processes, and worked with them to address the technical aspects of their HR technology. We specialize in the SAP HR software and its partners as well as outsourcing platforms at ADP, Ceridian, IBM, Workscape and various benefits providers.

Managing Partner's BioSteve Bogner is Managing Partner at Insight Consulting Partners (www.insightcp.com), a company that works with executives to achieve exceptional value from their investment in Human Resources people, processes and technology. Steve has been working with HR technology since 1986, and with the SAP HR system since 1993. In that time Steve has worked with HR and IT leaders in private and public sector companies across the country on domestic and international projects.
In addition to being a founding member of the Advisory Board for the HR Expert Newsletter he regularly presents sessions on SAP HR-related topics and HR technology in the US and Europe. Steve is a member on research and advisory panels for The Harvard Business Review and McKinsey Quarterly.
Steve earned his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Tulsa College of Business, later going on to complete the MBA program, at the same school, with a focus on International Business.

Case StudiesThe cases below show how Insight Consulting Partners has helped clients achieve more value from their HR systems, process and people:
Case 1: Project Management for SAP HR
A Fortune 50 company needed assistance in planning for and implementing the SAP HR/Payroll module. Steve Bogner helped the client develop a strategy for implementing the software for a core group in the US and then rolling it out to the rest of the country as well as globally. Steve was involved in project management and change management, as well as providing expertise in configuring the software and business processes.
Case 2: Benefits Outsourcing
A client decided to outsource their benefits and pension administration to a third-party provider. Insight Consulting Partners helped the client analyze the impact outsourcing would have on existing business processes and system processes. Modifications to the company's data model (Enterprise Structure) were identified and new processes were designed.
Case 3: SAP Payroll Evaluation
A Fortune 100 manufacturer considered using SAP for its world-wide payroll needs. Steve Bogner worked with the client to identify high-level functional gaps and potential implementation strategies – including using SAP vs outsourcing. The client established global process owners to organize their HR/Payroll processes in a more integrated manner to prepare for a global change in payroll processing. Connections were made via Insight Consulting Partners with other companies who had taken a global approach to payroll.
Case 4: SAP HR Stabilization
A Fortune 500 company had implemented SAP HR and was having difficulty with it. Employee data was not updated consistently and payroll data was not being reported accurately. Financial postings in SAP as well as to subsidiary systems were difficult to reconcile and in some cases contained errors. Steve Bogner worked with the client to improve employee data maintenance processes, leading to more accurate payroll results. Errors in the payroll posting process were analyzed and corrected, and errors in the technical interface to subsidiary ledgers were resolved. Additional reconciliation practices and tools were put in place, enabling the client to become current in their payroll reconciliations.

Case 5: Implementation Assistance
A firm was dissatisfied with its implementation partner and chose Insight Consulting Partners to work with it to finish its SAP HR implementation. Insight came into the project during the realization phase and took the client live in five months. The existing configuration for Time Management and Payroll was cleaned-up and in most cases replaced, scope was finalized, and satisfactory parallel testing was performed to verify the system.
