and I am your Woodside Apartment Manager. Since back to school commercials are taking over media, I am sureyou realize that move-in weekend is only one monthaway. So before you get back to making the most of what's left of summer, please take a moment to read thisbrief newsletter. We are looking for some volunteers to help on both move-in days, Saturday, August 24and Sunday, August 25th. Volunteers will assist with directing traffic, parking enforcemenunloading vehicles and other tasks. The work of volunteers is extremely helpful in makimove-in day a success. In exchange for your help on move-in day, volunteers can move

Want to bring your car to campus? Buy a parking permit from UNHTransportation and Parking and you can park in the Woodside lot. It’s lo-cated right across from the Woodside Community Center and can hold upto 200 cars. You can buy your parking permit at: www.unh.edu/transportation/parking/.

We’ve gone digital!We’ve gone digital!We’ve gone digital! 

Comcast, UNH Housing Cable TV’s programming provider is upgrading theirservice to UNH. By the time you arrive on campus this fall the UNH Catvisioncable system will be completely digital. You’ll be able to watch your favoriteshows or sporting events in high definition!

 Any progress comes with change. If you have a Tube TV it will not work oncampus this fall. Please do not bring it to UNH. Flat screen televisions manu-factured since 2007 come equipped with the QAM tuner required for digital

programming. Flat screen TVs made before 2007 may not. You can check this by going to your manufacturer’s web site and checking your TV’s modelnumber. If your TV does not have a QAM tuner please do not bring it

to campus.

 Another enhancement we are working with Comcast is called IPTV. This ser-vice provides cable TV on your laptop and other mobile devices through thewireless network. Hopefully sometime this fall you’ll be able to view televisionprogramming on your mobile devices for no extra fee! Details will be sentyour way as we get them. Questions?
