How many of you are getting married this July?!!I just attended a friend’s wedding last week, and it got me nostalgic about my own wedding. Reading about all the sales going on right now (it IS sale season, best time to shop for your trousseau!), I was reminded of what I was doing this time of the year in 2012. Spending every single weekend shopping with my parents – lehengas, anarkalis, saris, the works. It was just a year ago, but it seems like a lifetime has passed since. The first year of marriage feels like the longest time of your life at times, and at other times it seems like “didn’t I just get married a blink of an eye ago?”!!For those of you getting hitched this July, I hope your wedding journey is as beautiful as mine seems to be – the opportunity to be with the one you love every single day. And for the rest of you, I hope wedding planning goes as smoothly as it can possibly be for a bride. If you do happen to slip a time or two, you know who to contact!
