Modifying the charts using the Chart Options

dialog box.

CHART OPTIONS dialog box has tabs that help us modify the

chart and axes titles, show or hide gridlines, legend, and

data markers.

CD-AUDIO TRACK any music files burn into acompact disc for media playing purpose.

CLIP ORGANIZER- doesn't actually copy or move

the files on your computer. Instead, ClipOrganizer leaves the files in their original

location and simply creates shortcuts for the

files in collection folders.

MOVIE a series of still images with formats suchas AVI or MPEG and file extensions such as .mov,

.mpg, and .mpeg.

NARRATION a recorded voice over to enhanceWeb-based or self-running presentations.

It is not enough that text andgraphics comprise ourpresentation. Sounds, music,videos, and narration may beincluded in presentation to

produce good looking andcaptivating reports to theaudience.

In adding these elements, certainmedia devices should be present tothe computer such as sound cardsand speakers so the sounds andmusic may be clearly heard by theaudiences. Microphones shouldalso be available for recordingsounds and voice narration.

Open the slide where the sound should be placed.

Click the Insert Menu.

Choose movies and sound.

Opposite Movies and Sounds command is a right pointingarrow which indicates that there is a sub menu thatprovides more option to choose from.

Click on the option and the mouse to the right to displayit.

Select either the Sounds from Clip Organizer or Sound fromFile.

When the Clip Art task pane appears, click the drop downarrow of Results should be option then click Sounds todisplay the available sounds from the organizer or file.

Select a sound appropriate for the slide.

When the Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 dialog box appear onthe screen, choose how you want it to start in thepresentation-Automatically or When Clicked.

Insert the CD with the music you want to insert in theCD-ROM drive.

Open the slide where the music will be placed.

Click Insert Menu.

Choose Play CD Audio option. The Insert CD Audio dialog box appears on the screen.

Specify the starting and ending track.

Select Loop until stopped if the music will berepeated.

On Display Options, click Hide sound icon option, ifyou want that the icon will not be seen when theshow is going on.

Click OK when done.

Choose how you want the music to start in thepresentation-Automatically or When clicked.

design template.

3. Click the Insert menu.

4. Point to Movies and Sound, and then choose Sound from

Clip Organizer or Sound from File.

5. Select your desired sound file.

6. Choose between playing your sound automatically or

when clicked.

7. For the second slide, on movies and sounds option, Movie

from Clip Organizer or Movie from File.

8. Select your desired movie file.
