CATEGORIES OF KEYBOARDS KEYS

Keyboard is most popular used INPUT DEVICES and it has 101 keys called QWERTY KEYS are in the following Categories.

ALPHA NUMERIC KEYS NUMERIC KEYS FUNCTIONS KEYS CUSSOR MOVEMENT KEYS

ALPHA NUMERIC KEYSIs a combination of alphabetic and numeric keys.

It includes back space and caps lock converts letters capital to small and small to capital.

Mouse is the primary input device but lack of the ability to easily transmit textual information into the computer known as Pointing device.

TRACK BALLA Track balls is also a pointing device it look like up-side down mouse tThe function of track balls same as like mouse.It has on the tap which roll with the finger to move pointer on the screen.

JOY STICKJoy stick is the hand-held stick .It is used to move objects and pointer on the screen.Keyboard used for the same purpose but joy stick controls pointer better then keyboard.

LIGHT PEN

Light pen is also a pointing device and it work like mouse and it mostly use for engineering , design and architect.

SCANNER SCANNER used to convert computer

information into printed information.

TYPES OF SCANNER Some most common types of scanner

are; HAND HELD SCANNER FLET –BED SCANNER SHEET BED SCANNER

HAND HELD SCANNERA scanner that is held in the hand and across the image to be scanned termed as hand held scanner.It is less expensive and small in size.

FLAT-BED SCANNERThis type of scanner has flat piece of glass the .The advantage of flat-bed scanner is that one problem with the hand held scanner keeping.Scanner steady is eliminated is flat-bed scanner so we can say that it is the advanced form and hand held scanner.

SHEET-BED SCANNERIt is different from flat-bed scanner .Sheet-bed in which the paper is laid on the sheet of glass and scanner head moves it can’t be scan pages and pages posted on items.

AUDIO INPUT DEVICES Audio input devices allow to user to

send signals to the computer for processing or carrying outcomes.

Rarely output devices are also like input devices storage device ,CD-Ram .

DIGITALCAMERAThe photography can be exactly taken in the digital camera as you would in traditional camera but in digital camera we can delete it unsatisfied picture and it is portable also and we take video with the sound and we watch pictures and videos on LCD.

WEB CAMERAIt is similar to video camera but instead are connected with the computer and it has no storage capability and it is importable because it attaches with the computer or laptop for video conferencing and video cheating purpose.
