A LETTER FROM BILL When I started Plemons Machinery in 1986, my intent was to provide the best service possible at a reasonable price without the hassles and overhead that a larger firm has. My experience comes from having worked side by side with the original designer of this equipment through all phases of the machinery development including the tweaking of new designs and machine attachments. It is with this knowledge and experience that Plemons Machinery exists today. This knowledge is passed to each employee as part of our manufacturing philosophy. It is my hope that you will be able to inspect one of our machines and judge for yourself. I think our commitment to quality in all aspects of our business makes us your first choice for machines, parts, and service.

Plemons Machinery Services started in Bill’s garage and moved to its present location in 2006. Started as a service company for a major client in the Fresno, CA area, word of mouth advertising brought in more customers. These customers needed machines updated with new technology, and only Plemons was able to respond. While gaining expertise to rework the old, outdated machines, finding quality parts suppliers, and improving on the machines’ design, Bill realized that Plemons Machinery had to develop and manufacture the machines we offer today. Along with the standard tray and bliss machines, Plemons Machinery has added a growing list of machine designs and attachments. And as our customers’ needs grow, other machines will be engineered and built to provide our customers the quality, innovation, and service they require.

Plemons Machinery has always had loyal customers, but the loyalty goes both ways. Plemons is dedicated to providing the kind of support that only friends enjoy! Besides machines, parts and service, Plemons Machinery will work with you in designing new containers, developing containers with new materials or adhesives, and making new container designs run on your existing machines. The people at Plemons Machinery believe that customers come and go but friends are forever!

The Plemons Machinery “Build Smart” approach to manufacturing is the direct outcome of training each employee in all phases of production. We believe that if each employee can perform every job, then they will operate collectively with cooperation, not competition. For Plemons Machinery customers this means a better product, reasonable prices, and quality service. Our goal is to supply our customers with as much information as possible, and allow them to make a choice based on their specific needs for their project. We don’t try to sell our customers something that isn’t needed to make their project work!

Every Plemons machine is engineered with simplicity in mind. We have gone to great lengths to engineer a completely mechanical machine ready for use anywhere in the world. With their state of the art computer-aided design software, our engineering group can design, build and operate the machine in the computer. This allows them to find design flaws before any parts are manufactured to build the machine. This saves time and money and our customers get a better machine.

SUBASSEMBLY

Our approach to machine manufacturing is unique to our industry. At our modern preassembly plant we turn individual parts into subassemblies. These subassemblies are then used to build the finished machine. This approach allows us to cut manufacturing time by approximately 1/3 over conventional methods. It means that every assembly built will be identical, thus keeping quality at it’s highest and our prices lower.

PARTS & SERVICE Our prices for machinery, and replacement parts, are as much as 30% below our nearest competitors. We stock approximately 95% of replacement parts at all times. We have had World Wide Service ever since we’ve been in business. You call us, you will talk to a person immediately, any hour of the day, night, weekend, or holiday. We will send a serviceman to anywhere in the world to repair your equipment if needed. That’s a standard procedure for us. However, our main goal at Plemons is to manufacture machinery with such high quality that it only requires you to uncrate it, plug it in, and start making boxes. We would rather you never require a serviceman. With our machine manuals online and everyone at Plemons committed to customer service, it’s easy for us to handle over 90% of our service calls over the phone.
