A different way to study Business Management

Yrityslabra has been in action in Laurea University of Sciences Lohja unit since 2008

It became a specialized learning environment in 2011

Students work in different kinds of true-life business projects

For the Clients Yrityslabra offers a change to get fresh and innovative ideas

What we offer for the Students

Students study independently and work directly with businesses. They get valuable experience and abilities for the working life

During their time in the University the students develop valuable networks with

the companies and organizations

Besides the projects, the students can also at the same time take courses from the study

modules from the Laurea's study selection

The application for Yrityslabra is organized couple times per year

The qualification for the application is that the student has accumulated approx. 60 study points

It is possible to take part in separate/individual projects even before the 60 study points is reached

What we can offer for the Clients

Yrityslabra works in co-operation with companies, societies and public organizations - It doesn't matter what the size of the company or the

industry is, each project is customized for the needs of that company

In Yrityslabra students have done e.g. customer satisfaction research, developing and planning business activity & marketing, market research

projects, etc.

Yrityslabra enables learning for all the participants - Students learn among other things

project skills and practices of the working life

Students participate in networks that help them in the future, after graduation

The Clients respectively getNew and Innovative Ideas

In the projects the content, extent and schedules varie - co-operation and

discussion with the company are important part of the activity in Yrityslabra

The costs of the projects are always discussed and settled specifically with the company

The costs depend e.g. on the size and schedule of the project
