Classroom Process Responses Warming up Activity Teacher enters the class and greets the children. Teacher creates an informal interaction with students. Picturization Teacher shows the picture of the author ‘Sarojini Naidu’ and gives a brief introduction about the author.

Presentation of the Content Teacher gives a brief description of the first stanza. In the stanza, the poet speaking about her dreamland in this poem. She is alone in the magical wood where beautiful and soulful visions sprung before her like poppies. The spirit of truth which appeared in the land of her dreams is compare to singing birds. The spirit of love compared to glittering stars and spirits of peace that flowed like streams. Reading the textbook Teacher reads the poem loudly with proper intonation, stress, rhythm, tone etc.

Reading aloud by the students Teacher asks one of the students in the class to read the poem aloud in the class and asks others to mark difficult areas. Vocabulary teaching Teacher explains the unfamiliar words using laptop. Wood- Small forest

Teacher gives an opportunity to develop their creativity. They are asked to compose a tune for the lines. Knowledge Checking Teacher asks some questions to students to check their content knowledge. 1. Who is the author of the poem

and love compared to?
