At our school, sports are compulsory for everyone until youre sixteen. The sports facilities are not

very good. Everyone has to do three hours of sports a week. In winter we play Australian football - its not the same as football in Europe, or soccer as you call it - and you can play hockey in winter, too. In summer the boys play cricket

and the girls play tennis and thats all we can do at school. Of course, a lot of people do other

    sports in their free time.

Were lucky in my school as we have quite good sports facilities so, if you like sports, its great. Its compulsory to do two hours a week but you can do more if you want. We have a gym where we do gymnastics and aerobics . Im not very good at gymnastics! And team sports ? Well both girls and boys play football - well thats soccer really. I love it and I play in the school team. In summer you can choose what you want to do. You can either play tennis or you can go swimming - theres a swimming pool at the sports center near here. I usually play tennis.Created by: Publishing team.
