In the areas air conditioning technology and transport, EMKA is one of the leading manufacturers of locking tech-nology. With 2,100 employees we serve over 30,000 customers in 52 countries worldwide.

Currently, the overall range comprises more than 15,000 articles, which are developed, manufactured, refined and assembled at eight production sites in Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

The product program by EMKA has a consistently modular structure. No matter whether made of stainless steel, zinc, aluminium, plastic or rubber, the products meet national as well as international standards, e. g. resistance class RC2 and are available up to the IP rating IP 69K.

The centrepiece of the product development at EMKA is its own design department. Engineers and designers develop locking components and systems using the latest design software meeting the highest requirements.

Afterwards, they are tested and certified in its own test laboratory.
