We have been ensuring the correct management of the integrated water cycle for more than 30 years.

The stages involved in this cycle begin with the collection of raw water, its treatment by making it drinkable in a drinking water treatment plant, maintenance and control of the water tanks, management of the distribution networks, and its subsequent distribution to the population. In addition, continuous water tests are carried out in our laboratories to check the state of the water and thus

guarantee maximum quality from the end user's tap.

Another service is the systematic assessment of supply and sanitation networks. In this way, high performance rates are achieved in the municipalities where we manage the water, using the latest technologies available in the market for leak detection and repair, thus minimising losses.

The activities included in the management of the integrated water cycle are:

�� Operation and maintenance contracts: AccIONA Agua has been awarded contracts for more than 160 conventional and industrial water treatment plants.

�� Integrated services: we ensure the correct management of the integrated water cycle, making the water supply compatible with optimum quality conditions for daily use with great respect for nature. It currently serves more than 180 municipalities in Spain and Peru, with a population of more than 15.3 million.

It is one of the repositories of know-how for the entire company.

All processes and installations are executed by the control and automation teams that require specialised maintenance, upgrades and a continuous relationship to optimise plants and processes. Thermal GenerationAccIONA Industrial is a leader in turnkey projects for solar thermal power plants, with an accumulated capacity of more than 700 MW. This type of plant is characterised by its capacity to generate electricity using solar radiation as an energy source and a fluid as a thermal conductor. AccIONA Industrial is capable of developing its projects in remote environments and under

all kinds of adverse conditions. It is currently present in the sector's main geographical areas of activity and has projects under development or construction in countries such as South Africa, canada, Australia, UAE, Egypt, Mexico, Brazil or chile.

AccIONA Industrial has attained this leading position by committing to quality, innovation and the application of the most advanced engineering techniques, developing new technologies according to the geographical locations of the projects and customer requirements. One of the most important technological inclusions in AccIONA's solar thermal power plants has been the use of thermal storage in molten salts, which allows the plants to continue generating energy for hours in the absence of sunlight.

AccIONA Industrial has participated as main contractor in the largest solar thermal power plant to date, Noor I, located in Ouarzazate (Morocco). This plant uses cSP (concentrated Solar Power) technology with parabolic

trough collectors and features thermal storage in molten salts. With a power output of 160 MW, the plant began operating in late 2015.

The 100-MW Kathu Thermal Solar Power Plant in South Africa is currently under construction and will be completed in 2018.

Also included in this business line are conventional thermal engine power plants, where AccIONA Industrial has several projects in Mexico, such as the Baja california Sur III and Baja california Sur V plants. At the same time, it is also present in this country with open-cycle plants, such as Baja california II, with a configuration of 3x45 MW.

In addition, it specialises in executing energy generation projects using waste and biomass, where it owns more than 150 MW under construction and is capable of managing more than 420,000 tonnes per year.


For more than 30 years, AccIONA Industrial has specialised in the engineering and construction of hydroelectric power plants, including dams and civil works. In recent years, this division has initiated the development of EPc or turnkey contracts in Mexico, highlighting the

already completed San Rafael Hydroelectric Power Plant and the contracted project in Puebla.

In this sector, AccIONA Industrial offers all the services included in the construction of a hydroelectric power plant: feasibility studies; basic and

detailed engineering services; construction in EPc or turnkey mode; commissioning, operation and maintenance tasks. In the photovoltaic generation sector, AccIONA Industrial is currently building the world's largest solar power plant in Dubai (UAE), Mohammed bin Rashid Al
