Implement a range of BI extensions within Spotfire through:

• Integration with external analytic tools and platforms• Enhancements of data analysis with custom web UI

InfomatiX

Most features required to do a proof of concepts first prior to their implementation, due to the various technical limitations to the API/SDK that Spotfire provides, especially limited JavaScript support on a web part.

Solution

Enhancing the existing components and developing new components to increase analytical capabilities of TIBCO Spotfire platform.

Realizing that enhancements work with data that may potentially be a source of code errors in other environments, a special attention was paid to unit testing and manual testing.

The Tibco Spotfire 6.5, 7.0 and 7.5 versions were used for integration works.

Major achievements:
