• Create folders for SQL Data, Logs, TempDB and Backups.
Installing SQL • Click the setup icon.

• After launching the installer, click Installation on the sidebar and then click New SQL Server stand-alone installation on the main section.
• Enter the product key if necessary.

• Accept the license terms and click Next.
• Do not select Use Microsoft Update to check for updates.

• Select SQL Server Feature Installation.
• Choose the features of SQL Server 2014 to install. When desired selections, have been made, click Next. The following features should be selected for installation:
o Database Engine Services
o SQL Server Replication
o Reporting Services
o Client Tools Connectivity
o Client Tools Backwards Compatibility
o Management Tools – Basic
o Management Tools – Complete

• Bullet Default Instance. Then click Next.
• On the Server Configuration page, make sure all the services have Automatic selected for the Startup Type. Modify the Account Name for SQL Server Agent, SQL Server Database Engine and SQL Server Reporting Services to the stisqllea account. Contact Chalkable when ready to enter in the password. Click Next once all information has been entered.

• On the Database Engine Configuration screen, bullet Mixed Mode Authentication and enter in your sa password. Please make note of the password, as it will be used during the installations of InformationNOW, the Health component, InFocus and Chalkable SETS.
• Click the Add Current User button at the bottom. Add the Administrator account, stisqllea, reportuser and the administrators group for windows authentication. Once those are added, click on the Data Directories tab.
• On the Data Directories tab, click the ellipsis icon on the right hand side to select the location for the Data files (.mdf), Log files (.ldf), TempDB and Backups. Click Next after these items have been selected.

• Bullet Install and configure and click Next
• Click Install and then click Finish after installation completes.

Post-SQL Install Procedures • Modify Max Text Replication Size. Open SQL Management Studio and log in with sa account.
• Right-click on SQL Instance and click on Properties.

• Run the following script on master database:
Setting up Reportuser on SQL Reporting Services • Access via Web browser. Type in http://localhost/reports in the address bar.
• Click on Folder Settings.

• Click on New Role Assignment.
• Add reportuser and select all roles. Click OK.
