Re: Annual Charity Golf Tournament - September 17, 2016
We need your help!
South Lake Elks Lodge #1848 is having its Annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Green Valley Golf Course to raise money and awareness for Habitat for Humanity/Veterans Village project.
Transitioning from the service to civilian life isn’t easy. A safe, affordable home assists in the transition not only financially, but mentally, providing our Veterans with a peace of mind. A home is where we feel safe, where we connect with our families, and where we establish ourselves within our community. Our Veterans deserve a place to call home.
The Veterans Village is a collaborative project that not only provides access and opportunity to affordable housing, but offers wrap-around services to the residents within the neighborhood. The South Lake Elks Lodge #1848 has partnered with Habitat for Humanity and local Veteran organizations to provide our Veterans with services such as resume assistance, job hunting, education enrollment, navigating the VA, and many more.
We are anticipating a highly successful and well-attended Golf Tournament. We are offering various levels of sponsorships. Attached with this letter is the Golf Tournament registration, Sponsorship information and information on Habitat for Humanity/Veterans Village.
We thank you in advance for your support for this cause that is so dear to our hearts! For more information and forms, visit our website at www.southlakeelks1848.com.
