Information Point Design Decisions
Audience: Teenagers
Purpose: To educate the target audience on the ethics of fair trading
What will I do to ensure the work is suitable for?
Audience: To make my work suitable for my target audience I will you a “cool” Red and black colour scheme with a carbon fibre theme to make my work more “Edgy”
Purpose: I will use Standard English so that my work is easy to understand and to keep it informative and not limit my target audience by using colloquial terms or phrases.
Design Decisions
• Style – I will use a cool, carbon fibre style to appeal to my teenage audience
• Colour scheme – I will use a black and red colour scheme to appeal to my target audience
• Content – Each page will contain information about people who benefit from fair trade and/or information about how people who are not affected suffer. Statistics will also be given to support my statements
• Language – I will use standard (but no sophisticated English to both appeal to my target audience. I may also use slang (such as text speech) to further appeal to them.
• Images/Graphics – The images I use will be of a clear, professional standard and depict the products that a specific area of ethics applies too.
