Once SMART drops you off at the San Rafael Station, cross the street to the San Rafael Transit Center (be safe—cross only at the crosswalks!). From the Transit Center, Golden Gate Transit (GGT) and Marin Transit provide several options to the Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry Terminal, where you can continue your journey by ferry. Golden Gate Transit also provides direct bus service from the Transit Center into San Francisco on Routes 27, 70, and 101. FREE Shuttle for Larkspur Ferry Customers Route 31 is FREE for Larkspur Ferry customers. Just tag your Clipper card when you board and get off the shuttle, and again when boarding the ferry. The fare for passengers who do not ride the Ferry is $1.80 (adult Clipper), $2.00 (adult cash), and $1.00 (youth, senior, disabled). Description of ServiceRiding SMART and finding connecting transit service to San Francisco is easy, as long as you know which routes to take! Once SMART drops you off at the San Rafael Station, cross the street to the San Rafael Transit Center (be safe—cross only at the crosswalks!).
