tudents who are taking up

Smanagement studies at the present

juncture are blessed. For the academic,

business and social environment around

them are changing for the better or so I

believe.

The content of management studies and its

relevance to society is under scrutiny. The

chances are that the younger generation will

now be able to imbibe knowledge which

would be more society relevant and help

understand and solve society’s pressing

problems.

The business environment, I believe, is

changing for the better, propelled by a

greater degree of optimism. This is no doubt

caused by a turn, for the better in the

economy.

The social environment is also becoming

more self-aware and there is a distinct move

towards “responsible business”, which we are

emphasizing in BIMTECH. Our students will

be very well prepared to shoulder the

responsibilities in this area in a better way.

Latest concepts like design thinking and data

analytics which are incorporated in our

studies are aimed at solving customer’s

problems effectively. Our curriculum vetted

by industry is a step ahead in meeting

tomorrow’s requirements.

BIMTECH prides itself in offering a totally

inclusive atmosphere for students from all

parts of India. The mentoring and grooming

is in the capable hands of very experienced

faculty.

I’ve great pleasure in warmly welcoming

bright young men and women across the

country to experience BIMTECH which

provides a stimulating ambience to realize

their goals as a budding entrepreneur or a

corporate leader.

The retail industry has emerged as a sunrise sector and is expected to make a remarkable contribution towards overall economic growth during the next decade. Huge gapbetween demand plus supply of trained managers has intensified competition among retailers for the available managerial talent within the industry. Entry of the leading Indian business houses into the organized retail sector, opening up of the sector to foreign investors and emergence of e-commerce with huge investment through Venture capital and Private equity mode indicate growth potentialities of the sector.

StretchThe prime mover for achieving excellence by students would

be the efforts, academic and otherwise, that they are

motivated to put in throughout their stay in the campus.

Students need to constantly test their limits and expand their

minds and intellect. Stretch, therefore, would be the first

necessary step.

Connect

Connecting is a learnable skill perfected by scanning the

environs and making sense of myriad unrelated occurrences

there which might lead to a second or third event and this

connected chain taken as a whole explains a phenomenon.

Collaborate

Students should imbibe the art of collaborating with team

mates, others and even putative competitors. This would be

a vital life learning essential for success in the real world.

Compete

One should not set store by ‘entitlements’. One should be

able to offer ideas and action in such a way that these should

withstand all tests and emerge victorious through the

baptism of fierce cut and thrust in the competitive arena.

Win

Players are trained to visualize their ascension to the

winners’ podium while training strenuously for success. If

aspirations are to be met, self-belief propelled from the bed

rock of hard work and smart efforts is an absolute must.
