Message

To make our country active and leading member of the global knowledge society, we need to take steps to provide facilities for training skilled scientists, technologists, engineers, educationalist and other professionals in the various spheres of cognitive enterprises. However, there is an uneven development in some fields of study and that needs due attention and we are deeply concerned to upgrade and reform the system for improving the quality of education.

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University has taken the initiative of introducing quality education in the region for the aspirants for education in all the programs in the University campus as well as in affiliating colleges.

1. ABOUT M. J. P. ROHILKHAND UNIVERSITY

M.J.P. Rohilkhand University was established in 1975 as an affiliating

University. Its status was upgraded to affiliating-cum-residential university

in 1985 when four teaching Departments were established in the campus.

In 1987 three more Departments were added. Taking into account the

dearth of professional programs in the Rohilkhand region, the university

started Engineering faculty in 1995 with B. Tech courses in various

branches and since then the University has taken a proactive approach and

various new programs have been initiated. In August 1997 Rohilkhand

University was renamed as Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University.

Welcome to the Campus of MJPRU Bareilly

The University headquarter is located at Bareilly with its territorial

jurisdiction extending over the districts of Bareilly, Moradabad, Rampur,

Bijnore, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Baduan, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur. The

University campus spreads over 206 acre of Land. The Campus possesses

administrative building, faculty buildings, Central Library, Multipurpose

hall, hostel for boys & girls, residences for officers of the University, faculty

members, Non-teaching staff, Guest houses and Sports complex. It has also

a health care centre. The senior faculty members of different disciplines in

Humanities, Science and Technology are running research projects funded

by various agencies and so for 49 projects funded by UGC, AICTE, DST, CST,

ICAR, ICHR, MIF have been completed. Teachers of the Affiliated colleges

are also engaged in research projects funded by various agencies.

The University imparts non-conventional, professional and technical

education through its campus as well as network of colleges and institutes.

It has, over the period, emerged as a pioneering institution in the state of

Uttar Pradesh.

Keeping in view its goals, objectives, regional, national and global

requirements, The University has developed programmes which may be

classified in the following manner:

• Doctoral Programmes

• Post-Graduate Programmes

• Under-Graduate Programmes in specialized areas

• Certificate And Diploma Programmes of Vocational Nature.

The core programmes are mainly at Masters level while professional,

technical and vocational belong to under graduate level. The former

includes M.A. (Ancient History & Culture, Applied and Regional Economics,

Philosophy, Psychology and English), M.Sc. (Plant Science, Animal Science,

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology) M.Ed., LLM and MBA

whereas the latter encompass degree courses in six branches of

Technology, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, B. Ed etc.

At present there are 24 university departments,17 Government colleges, 29

Government funded affiliated colleges, 528 self- financing colleges. The

University runs 36 Post Graduate, 15 under Graduate, 09 Diploma, 20 Post

Graduate Diploma and 34 Doctoral Programmes. In most cases syllabi are

revised annually. The University has Central Library, Computer Centre,

Workshop,

Primary Health Centre, Sports facilities including Indoor stadium, Track

field etc. for out door games, inter-alia, as Central facility. More over

electronic gadgets are regularly used for imparting instructions in the class

rooms, laboratories and workshops.

As a matter of policy academic environment is, maintained in such a way

that the faculty, students and employees as three major pillars co-operate

and strive to uplift the overall educational standards and atmosphere of the

University. A regular feedback from faculty members and students

improves academic standards in teaching and research.

The candidates have to apply for entrance examination by filling online registration form which is available from 10 September, 2021 to 25 September, 2021 on University website (www.mjpru.ac.in) or entrance examination 2021-22 portal (entrance.mjpruonline.in).

Application Fee for LLB course is Rs. 950/- + Bank Transaction Fee. After submitting the online application form Click on "Proceed for the payment" button to

pay the online fee by choosing Netbanking/Debit Card/ Credit Card of your bank option and pay the Fee.

After depositing online fee the candidate should print their application form from university website (mjpru.ac.in)or entrance examination 2021-22 portal (entrance.mjpruonline.in).

Printed copy of application form should be retained by the candidate for future. There is no need for sending application form to the University.

The Entrance test will be conducted offline on 05.10.2021 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM. The Admit cards for the entrance test shall be made available on the University website/

entrance exam portal before the entrance examination. The candidates have to download their admit card from the university website/ entrance

LLB (3 years course) entrance test paper shall consist of 100 objective type multiple choice questions based on General Hindi (20 Questions), General English (20 Questions) and General Knowledge, Current Affairs & Legal awareness (60 Questions).

The entrance exam/test will be conducted offline of 1.5 hours duration.

The entrance test for LLB (3 years course) will be based on objective type OMR based questions.

The paper shall comprise of 100 multiple choice type questions (both in hindi and English languages).

The duration of the test will be of 1.5 hours.

All objective questions will have four options with single correct answers.

For admission to the course of M.Ed. (2 Years Course) the minimum Educational qualification is B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Specializations) or B.El.Ed. or

L.T. degree. Admission to these courses will be allowed to those candidates only,

who have secured minimum 50% marks in B.Ed. / B.Ed. (Specializations)/B.El.Ed. /L.T, There will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST

candidates. The candidates who are appearing in the eligibility examination may

also appear in the Entrance Test, but they would have to submit the Marksheet of the required eligibility at the time of counseling for

admission, In case the candidate fails to fulfill the minimum required eligibility, his/her claim for admission will not be considered.

NOTE: If in any of the self finance courses, the number of candidates applying for Entrance Examination is less than the number of total seats, the Entrance Examination of that subject shall not be conducted.

Application Fee for M.Ed. course is Rs. 950/- + Bank Transaction Fee.

After submitting the online application form Click on "Proceed for the payment" button to pay the online fee by choosing Netbanking/Debit Card/ Credit Card of your bank option and pay the Fee.

After depositing online fee the candidate should print their application form from university website (mjpru.ac.in) or entrance examination 2021-22 portal (entrance.mjpruonline.in).

Printed copy of application form should be retained by the candidate for future. There is no need for sending application form to the University.

The Entrance test will be conducted offline on 05.10.2021 from 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

The Admit cards for the entrance test shall be made available on the University website/ entrance exam portal prior to entrance examination.

The candidates have to download their admit card from the university website/ entrance exam 2021 portal.

Admit cards will not be sent individually by post.


In M.Ed. (2 Years Course), admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination. However, minimum required eligibility qualification criteria must be fulfilled.

Maximum 5% students of other states will be allowed for admission. Candidates will be allotted seats in different colleges as per their

place/rank in the merit list.


M.Ed.(2 Years) entrance test paper will include the questions based on current affairs, general knowledge, logical reasoning, teaching aptitude, educational

technology, philosophical, Psychological and sociological foundations of education and emerging problems of Indian education system.

The entrance exam/test will be conducted offline on 05/10/2021 at 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

The entrance test for MEd (2 years course) will be based on objective type questions.

The paper shall comprise of 100 multiple choice type questions for 1.5 hours duration in Hindi and English languages.

All objective questions will have four options with single correct answers.

More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response.

The merit list will be prepared purely on the basis of marks obtained in entrance examination.

The candidates have to return original OMR and question booklet before leaving the examination, however the carbon copy of OMR may be retained by the candidate.
