Based on the All IP deployment, Huawei Symantec industry video surveillance solution is designed under the concepts o

integration, sae image storage, intelligent and ast search, and energy saving. The industry video surveillance solution perorms

the unctions o accessing, browsing, recording, replaying, managing, and orwarding network videos. Moreover, the industry

video surveillance solution can be developed secondarily with SDKs or integration with other application systems.

Safe Image Storage

Disk-level protection

Image data on aulty hard disks can be recovered onto normal

hard disks through the RAID algorithm. Thus, loss o images on

hard disks is prevented.

Device-level protection

In the case that an intelligent NVR storage device breaks down,

the central management system automatically hands over the

peripheral equipment units connected with the broken-down NVR

storage device to an adjacent intelligent NVR storage device. Thus,

loss o images uploaded by peripheral equipment units is prevented.

Link-level protection

Peripheral encoding devices and IP cameras can write video data

directly onto intelligent NVR storage devices. When the network

breaks down, encoding devices and IP cameras store video data

onto the built-in storage media. When the network resumes, video

data on the built-in storage media is automatically uploaded to

intelligent NVR storage devices. Thus, loss o images on the built-in

storage media is prevented.

Flexible Networking

Deployment o a single intell igent NVR storage device,

centralized deployment o multiple intelligent NVR storage

devices, or distributed deployment o multiple intelligent NVR

storage devices

The system can be upgraded in service through the addition o

peripheral equipment units, clients, or capacity.

Fast Image Retrieval

Various alarming methods

Through the defnable alarming methods, intelligent NVR storage

devices can label the stored video images in real time and establish

precise indexes to these video images.

Fast retrieval mechanism

The system provides various retrieval methods. Through the

eicient search engine, the system achieves ast and accurate

location and invocation o specifc video images among mass data.

Hard disk spin-down and device hibernation

The system employs the hard disk spin-down technology. The

hard disks that are inactive or a long time can power down

automatically.

The system supports the hibernation o an intelligent NVR

storage device. The inactive intelligent NVR storage devices

automatically enter S3 mode.
